Our rooms are capable of hosting from single guests to large families. They are situated on the first and second floor of the Hatzigeorgiou family house in the heart of the town of Pigadia. This family house was built in 1954 featuring many characteristics of karpathian architecture including very thick exterior cement walls, which in combination with the white exterior color provide a natural cool in-room environment during the hot summer months. Even though we are situated in the heart of Pigadia, we feature a very nice view of the bay of Karpathos, we are conveniently located near all necessary amenities like banks, super-markets, restaurants, internet cafes, bus and taxi stations, the Pigadia harbor, and the local beach - all within a short walk. Each room or studio is equiped with one or two beds, a nightstand, closet space, a table with a small stove for coffee or tea, two stools and wireless internet access for those who bring their own computers (laptops, iphones etc). Cleaning service starts at 11:00 am, six days a week. The first floor features three (3) medium to small double rooms, each equipped with a private bathroom and shower. Two of the rooms feature two (2) separate single beds which can be put together for couples or set apart for non-couples. One room features a double bed for couples or single guests. These three rooms share a large tiled floor veranda covered by a vine tree and an exterior refrigerator. Within the veranda there are three tables with a set of chairs, one for each room. These rooms are spotless, economical and ideal for those who don't travel with much luggage. The second floor features (2) large, very comfortable, fully equiped studio apartments each, each featuring its own specious kitchen, bathroom and shower. Both apartments share a tiled floor veranda, each with its own outdoor table and chair set. One of the apartments (#4) has two separate bedrooms, one bedroom with two single beds and one bedroom with one single bed. A fourth bed can be installed in the living room area of the apartment for larger groups. The other apartment (#5) features a large tradional karpathian wood framed sofa dressed in traditional hand made decorations. This sofa includes two beds, one double and one single. A fourth bed can be installed in the living room area for larger groups. These two studio apartments are in very high demand so please reserve them well ahead of time.
